I came Across This Bamboo

There are many things we come across in life. Some situations, people, incidents, occasions, etc. or things that are somewhere stuck in our mind or should I say at the back of our minds.

One such thing that I would like to share with all is the use of Bamboo in our daily life. Many of us who are netizens may not be aware of the use of Bamboo but it is the part and parcel of the lives of people in different parts of the world. One such place is the small state of India called Tripura. This small beautiful and unexplored state thrives very much on the Bamboo plantations and its products. It has become very much part of the lives of people living in this State.

By the way, have you ever tasted bamboo-shoots that are cooked, or even uncooked ! It's delicious....

Have a look at the following link that will give you a glimpse of what can be done with bambooooo. Just making sure that I am not associated with this mission in any way. Just linking.. http://www.tripurabamboo.com/

Your Bamboo use will contribute to the reduced use of timber products. Lets use simple things.

My Rubber Plantation Experience

Don't be surprise!

There are people talking about eco-friendly stuffs, renewable resources, saving the environment, etc. So I thought how about trying a little thing in my own way and contribute to environment safety. Me and my Dad(Mr. Thanvela Darlong) planned to have a rubber plantation in the hilly lands that we have which are mostly not utilized for anything good.

Here after a three years I visited where Dad has been laboring on this project. I was pleasantly surprised by the development and the kind of care that Dad is giving to these plants.

Have a look at some of the pictures and you will understand how they are growing fast. I'll share more about my experience about it later.

Thinnnnkkk what you can do......
